Dot points of what's happening because the hostel internet is going to shut down in five mins-
- My laptop's power pack seems to be gloriously dead. I tried charging it in Yangshuo in China, and there were a few blue sparks from the cord, then nothing. I spent three hours running around Akihabara this morning trying to find a replacement, only to find that I'd have to go to a Toshiba store. Which I can't find. -_-;
- I bought the NewS calendar today in Shibuya. Here's a hint Japan - if you've got to include instructions for your calendar, you're doing it wrong. XD;
So, does anyone know what the K8 calendar is like?
- I sprained my ankle today at Ueno park, dodging a drunk businessman who was out to watch the cherry blossoms. This is marvellous, because I strained the Achilles tendon on my other foot climbing a mountain to see a giant Buddha in Leshan, ha, so now I'm a cripple. Woe.
- My hostel is in Ikebukuro, near the west gate. Yet, I've not seen the park, nor that bloody owl that Yamapi stole in IWGP. My mission for tomorrow - FIND THAT OWL.
- My Japanese is really terrible. D:
- Cherry blossoms are super pretty.
