Bon voyage!
Well, I better write this entry now, because I won't have time after this.
Tomorrow at mid-day I catch a plane to Hong Kong with my family. We'll stay there two days, then catch a boat to the mainland. We'll travel around China for a little under a month, and on the 29th the family minus Tegan will fly to Tokyo from Shanghai, and we'll stay in Japan for a few days (while Tegan goes on to Thailand to meet a friend, then go around South-East Asia). On April 2nd, in the wee hours of the morning, I'll catch a plane from Tokyo Haneda airport to Akita, and Mum, Dad and Ben will head back to Australia later in the day. And then I'll stay in Japan until the end of the year.
The last 1-2 weeks have been absolutely insane, running around and doing last minute things. Things are still crazy - unlike my family, I can't just pack for the trip, I have to pack boxes of things to be shipped over to me once my family gets back. I'm still going. ^^; Even until this afternoon I was still doing things - cancelling my phone number, getting last minute injections (ow), voting (damn local election, scheduled for my birthday), seeing the family, etc. For the people I promised to see, and didn't, I'm so, so sorry - I just ran out of time to do every thing. I'll come back in a year though, and spend double the time with you then. ;D
Anyway, I'm going to be missing for a month - I may have internet access in Hong Kong, but definitely not in China (and if I do get online, LiveJournal is blocked, so you all won't hear from me anyway ;D). So! If I'm not around, I'm (probably) not dead, I'm just in China. I'll be back in a month when I'm settled in Japan!
