1.Maurene
This is my given name, so lots of people have called me this. Mostly my family and co-workers continue to call me by this name, although Diana still uses my full name.
2.Mo
Since junior high pretty much all of my friends have called me Mo. This is the name that I'm called the most, so I usually respond to it faster than "Maurene" oddly enough. Although I tend not to respond if I'm in a crowded place because it sounds too much luck "No" and "Yo." I'd be turning around way too much if I did that. My co-workers don't know me as Mo, and my family doesn't usually use the name. My dad and my aunt refuse to call me Mo because when I was little I told them Mo was a boys name. Pretty much everyone else uses it though.
3.Mo-Mo
My mom calls me this, and sometimes my sister too. My grandmother also called me this from time to time.
4.Mo-baby
This was my grandmother's most frequent nickname for me. I don't think I've heard it from anyone else since she died.
5.Mrene
My dad calls me by this name a lot. I think he's been doing it since I was little.
6.Maur
My aunt Trish refers to me this way, and I think a few people I knew it high school did too.
7.Mo-me
Gregg started using this as a joke because you can't add a y onto the end of Mo the way you can with Gregg, but he uses it sort of frequently now.
8.Maureney-Weeny
Carole used this name when we were little, but has used it as frequently as July of this year.
9.Maurene- Jelly Bean
My co-worker Patti is the only one who has ever called me this, but she says it almost every time I see her. She rhymes everybody's names because she is a little crazy.
10.Maurenely
Since my name is Maurene Lee some friends in high school kind of turned it into adjective form. This didn't last all that long.
11.Moesha
Joe Fuhrmeister called me this all through high school because the necklace I had on the first day of school said "Mo" and he presumed it was a nickname for Moesha (ie Brandy's TV show character) It stuck through all four years, and some friends started to use it as well.
12.Sandra
One of my residents called me this constantly because she thought I was her daughter. She would repeatedly call "Sandra!" throughout the day. She died unexpectedly, and it really hit me harder than any other residents' death ever had before or since. Since then another one of my residents, who used to call me Maurene, has called me Sandra.
I know there are probably a ton of names that I missed, but these were the ones used with the most frequency.
