I'm listening to "Guestroom" by Ivy, an LP of covers of singles by artists ranging from The Cure to The Go-Betweens.

It is simply brilliant and utterly amazing.

For Hilly Kristal whose taste and desire fomented CBGC & OMFUG and knocked up the U.S. scene with the bastard progeny punk and changed my life, for the better, for ever.

Thanks for the music, for letting the bands play and for keeping true to the DIY and punk ethos. Rest now, man, forever.
