I've been tagged...
I've been tagged by fiver00, to share five things that people don't know about me. I don't think there is much that people don't know about me already. I'm not very exciting. But here are a few things I can think of (that most people probably know about already)...
1. My real dream job is to be a school teacher. Not that exciting, I know. I teach from time to time with my current job, and it's the most rewarding thing ever. I've never pursued it for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it's the teaching that I want, and not the babysitting. So that would likely make the job a poor choice if I went ahead with it. The other reason is the stigma attached to a gay male teacher. The last thing I want, is to go into my retirement, and then have some derelicts(sp?) decide to accuse me of child abuse from 20 years ago, because they are trying to cash in. It happened to my high school principal (luckily, it was discovered to be a fraud scheme, and he was found innocent. But his reputation never recovered).
2. Since moving to Edmonton, I've been out about 8 or 9 times since July, not including the visits from fiver00 and nihilicious. That includes restaurants, movies, and the bars. Only 4 times to the bars, I think. I have not met a single person who I would call a friend. So I've been basically friendless and alone since I've been here. However, it really hasn't been a sad thing. Mostly I've been concentrating on work, and paying off past debts. There will be time for friends later.
3. I go to the gym twice a day, 5 or six times a week. I run for 30 minutes every morning, and do weights every evening. I've been slacking on the running lately.
4. I have webbed toes . Just like Ashton Kutcher. I guess that must be a common trait amongst us hot people :P. (I hate feet. They gross me out... I guess that's number 6)
