What's going on?
YEAH. CHECK OUT THAT NEW USER ICON. YEAH. YEAH I'm an anime dork. Gawd.
.... ZEUS!
Sucky thing is, Janelle's computer won't play the sound on Flash files anymore. So pesky! So, even though I got caught up to episode 79 of Bleach by plunking down my ass in front of YouTube all day for the past two weeks, I can't really watch ep. 80 unless I whip out my computer and lug it over here from storage and set it up.
I should probably do that anyways seeing as how until I'm formally employed, I've got nothing better to do than burn my eyes out reading old role-playing message board posts to write synopsiseses (synopsi?) for, draw, or knit.
Which actually, I shouldn't complain about. Except for the unemployed part. After facing a blank wall or computer screen for so long your brain goes, "FINE ALREADY, I'll ENTERTAIN -YOU- since you can't entertain ME," and shits outs random creative sparks upon said tabla rasa.
With pixie dust!
Anyways, Janelle's computer is very irritable, and seeing as how I'm on it now more thant she is (yipe!), I should probably use my own comp. My baby, it turned 5 years old last month and it still runs perfectly fine for me *hearts her comp*. Plus, it's got all the above mentioned role-play (I know, dorkdorkdork) posts and it'll be easier for me to do my project with those posts. And I can be on computer as long as I want and be as antisocial as I want, too! (DORK!)
Yeaaaah it's a desktop with a CRT monitor. It's hot sex. How much you wanna bet that I'll be using it for another 5 years? YEAH I WILL. Actually, I still want to use my family's first computer, the Packard Bell from 1995. That baby can still run and I kinda miss the bare bones simplicity of Windows 3.315, and working my DOS 6.0 skillz. I felt so l33t. I think if I just gave the Packard Bell a better modem it could still keep up with modern technology, at least for mere Interent putting.
Oh I'm a nerd. Yes, I want to give it a shot and see if I can bring that poor bastard Packard Bell back.
Anyways, I'm rambling. But it's kinda nice to ramble (rabblerabble) because normally I just think and forget about it. At least here, I can dispose of my thoughts, but not forget about it, and actually think about them again when necessary. SEE? That was rambling. But it feels sooooo gooooood.
Along with my summer project of being a dork and reviewing those old RP message board posts (I'll get back to that in a sec,) I mentioned drawing and knitting.
Ladies, and gentlemen.
I have learned to
knit.
Like, Tuesday night. I learned it in 15 minutes. (Well, 15 minutes mainly because I already have good dexterity from 3 years of crocheting blankets in high school.) It is pure awesome. So now, I know how to crochet (quite WELL might I add! If only I had pictures to show my skillz!), I am now beginning my exciting adventure down the road of GRANNYHOOD with knitting. GRANNYHOOD = SARCASTIC, CAUSTIC, ACIDIC BITCHINESS REGARDLESS OF AGE. You know what I need now? A kitty cat. Yeeeesssss a kitty cat. A kitty cat to purr and sit at my feet and play with the balls and skeins of yarn strewn about me as hooks and needles flash furiously flittering about photons and clicking into a caucophony of clatter as acrylics and wools of worsted weight wrap
(writing in progresso, check back later tonight)
