Chikorita disobeying Ash really confuses me, because of all his Pokémon Chikorita strikes me as the one that would obey his in any command that wasn't about her staying behind due to her extreme crush. She's kind of a less desperate Harley Quinn. I can understand the rest as they do tend to have their own opinions, but Chikorita is devoted to Ash.Then again,this being Falls, I really should be unsurprised that a character is OOT.

I can just image the reaction Falls would have had to a character not only helping Satan himself, but directly showing her support openly and in full view. She'd probably see it like someone publicly saying worshipping Hitler is a grand thing to do.

Of course. Nobody can beat the great Jessie, most magnificent of a coordinators. All who think a mere girl could show up her Hairness without cheating are either drunk or stupid, like that Ketchum brat.

I wonder if, had that fan theory about Giovanni being Ash's 'father been true, she had treated Ash better or Giovanni worse. I suppose it depends when she decided Giovanni was a woobie.
She'd probably shift from regular WYDS to WRHs while screaming that the show writers didn't understand the character like she did. *facepalm*
And all nuance in her character would be gone.
I don't know if that's why, but it's possible. I have to spork more fics to see what her justification was. I do know that the fic where they befriended Gary was lost to the sands of time, but it was something that involved Pokemon poachers and the like. (It was technically a Shigeru1313 fic, not a Corific. Still - part of the timeline.)
I've heard her fics were better written than than Falls own brand.
*snerk* That would have been interesting... (Though, unfortunately, she could always take the 'THE SHOW'S WRONG, MY CANON IS BETTER' approach. Corifics are at their most interesting when she's attempting to duck and weave around the canon.
They do have an entertaining desperation to them due to how much she has to twist everything in every episode to make her OTP work.
