Problematic alien lifeform or tech gets into the TARDIS, can transfer from person to person & cause some manner of harm, but difficult or impossible to tell who's the "host" at any given time (i.e. The Thing scenario, among many other examples

Any time! Sorry that all but one are Serious Business ideas. I'll see if my melon will cooperate with me and kick out a few more fanciful options to add to the pile at some point.
What about a type of Dick Tracey murder mystery plot? Each member of the comm is given one bit of evidence to discover, except for the mun that organises it. Their character will be the one that brings all of the evidence together and solves the mystery, to make it more fun for the other players involved.
Right, so. The TARDIS lands somewhere and a cliche mysterious figure gets on board the TARDIS. They leave three things scattered about which effect the players in one of three different ways. 1) They have an increase in pheromones (so they all become mini Capt. Jack) 2) They loose their voice and have to communicate through written down words or hand flailing 3) They become ghost-like, in that they can see people but people can't see them. They can touch and pick up things but all people will see is levitating objects, unless the character can use that as communication.
The way that they all go back to normal (because it would be good if we had a conclusion...) is throwing the mysterious character out of the TARDIS.
