If anyone has been watching the Weather Channel of late they would have seen at least some coverage on Hurricane Ivan, the most aggrivatingly unpredictable hurricane EVER. As my colleague, Victoria, has been saying, this is the first time I've seen weathermen universally hedge and waffle so much. They were SO certain it was gonna turn north, and

Indeed they do suck. This one's a category 5 . . . 160 mph winds ;-; This is officially bad. I'm home though which is at least one step safer than New Orleans. We're probably gonna go stay with my aunt who's about 45 miles inland (north) of my house.

X__X I have heard about it all over the news...up here even! It devestated...er...^^; The name doesn't come to me, but it starts with G - anyway - it totally got wrecked...X__X

I know it hit a portion of Cuba. Can't remember what cities though. And yep, category 5 . . . hell ANY category of hurricane is devestating ;-; Help.

NOOOO! We don't want it to stop! If it stops, it'll get stronger (it's over clear water right now), and the only places it can go is the Gulf Coast >-< No matter where it hits, we're gonna get SOME of it. It's a huge storm (coverage wise).

Eh, recurring? Hurricanes are a way of life here, which is why we call it hurricane season ^_^ We know to expect scares and hits.

Right now, all we can do is sit back and watch the weather forecasts for turns, and if - tomorrow - it looks like it'll hit close to us, we're moving on up. The car hath been packed and gased ^_~

^^; I've actually never experienced a hurricane...^^; Living in the middle of the continent, all I get is tornados...^^; Which aren't much better...
