Ugh. As usual, disease is sweeping through the festering shithole that is the dorms at Murray State, and again as usual, I've got it. Some kinda stomach bug, real pain in the ass. So here I sit, sipping at Schweppes Ginger Ale and taking a few other herbal remedies. Ah, well. Can't wait till spring starts so I can go out and do stuff again.
Saw the Butterfly Effect the other night. Judging from the reviews, most people either loved it or loathed it. I rather liked it, myself; Kutcher does quite a respectable job as the lead, better than a lot of people (myself included) gave him credit for. There's also some nicely disturbing imagery throughout the film, which has led to more than a few people throwing hissy-fits. In all, quite an original idea for a time-travelling movie, certainly beat the pants off of the Time Machine. I recommend seeing it if you have a night open, and if not rent it when it comes out on DVD. I'm curious to see what this "original ending" I've been reading about is like; I haven't been able to find any descriptions of it on the Internet, despite the claims of quite a few people to have caught test screenings from before the current ending was put in.
Not much else to say. Maybe I'll step outside for a bit, get some fresh air and all that. Remember, folks: freedom is in the mind.
