I am here at work today and tomorrow, but I'm wishing I wasn't. Things have been going pretty well lately. I've been really busy with work but not very motivated, but it's been okay.
Josh had surgery on his deviated septum last Friday and he is doing pretty well. I know he will feel better once he has his splints taken out, but for now I am enjoying a snore-less sleeping environment. I hope that when he's all healed up he will be able to breathe! The doctor said his septum was the worst she'd ever seen, so probably anything would be an improvement.
Otherwise, I've just been getting ready for Christmas. I put up a tree for the first time this year and have enjoyed having it up. I've also enjoyed buying gifts this year. I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve and then we're into 2009, but I am looking forward to a New Year. I'm thinking about taking a few days off next week to work on the loose ends around my house and get a little organized. I am also thinking about my goals for next year and I think they're going to be pretty ambitious, so I want to check a few things off my to-do list so I can focus on new positive things.
Finally, I am super excited because I got a new phone yesterday! Josh bought it for me for Christmas and it is nicer than anything I would have gotten myself, but I LOVE it!!! It is a lot like an iPhone, but not quite as cool. It does have GPS, Internet, MP3s, and email though, which is awesome - the GPS alone is going to rock!
