The Church of St.Dramatica's very first annual
Encyclopediadramatica Retreat!
He died for your lulz, so the least you could do is show up with money, ass.
...so damn, I wonder if I will have time...if this was held in Toronto I'll totally be there, but I don't think San Diego is anywhere near where I am (I don't remember hearing about it being cold). I am not going to go by plane into America, but if I go by greyhound, I don't think it'll be fast enough for me to enjoy enough of the weekend to rationalize all the expenses.
Next year, next year!
ETA: Ah, ED, my trusted newsource, on
Paypal, never used it, and never will, and this goes for eBay too since they are of thre same company. They illegally froze customer's account (isn't this a thief of sort?) which resulted in a
class action lawsuit against them in which they were most justly pr0nzed. I also remember a long while back where AdultFanfiction.Net ran into trouble because PayPal froze their account, stating that they sell adult items, which the insult of imposing morality aside, AdultFanfiction.Net does not. I understand that private service providers have the right to refuse services on certain grounds, in which case, give the money back!
I never did get the point of relying on eBay when there is the online craiglist (free except for three places in the world), Livejournal local communities, and various messageboards.
