Wow, this place is empty. It's 4:53 on a friday, and I just peeked over the cubes and found only three still occupied. There are about 30 cubes in my immediate area.
Working in this room is odd. Each programmer has a preferred amount of light so they don't turn on the overhead lights, each person just turns on small lamps in their cubes and thus has control of the intensity of the light in their work space. when It is really cloudy or dark out(like today), it has the same feeling as an unlit street late at night. You walk past the dark cubes as if they were houses with only few showing lights in their windows... clearly it is friday and my brain is broken. QUITTING TIME!
