David Farland said this today in his "
David Farland's Kick in the Pants" email post:
"In any case, today I have a link to an article by literary agent Janet Reid. Janet handles mysteries, thrillers, and some memoirs. She reminds us that even agents sometimes make mistakes.

Go read that post and remember it. I know I will.
Edit: I had two take-aways from that post. 1) Janet's main point that agents can make mistakes and our stories just need to find the right agent/editor/reader. 2) The writer seemed to have handled meeting her in a professional manner. This is a pretty critical point I think.
I'm adding it to my library of "About Writing" files.
Thanks to Janet Reid for sharing that, and to David for the link!
Have a great day!
