Attempted Murder in Kentucky

Apr 23, 2010 02:10

On April 16 (the National Day of Silence), three high school girls assaulted an openly lesbian classmate, brought her against her will to an area park and tried to throw her off a cliff:

The victim had the good sense to use her cell phone to record the incident (and the even better sense to grab a stick and escape her attackers). The alleged attackers are being charged with Kidnapping and Attempted Murder.

Police are claiming there is no evidence that this is a hate crime, but others (including the victims mother) believe that the cell phone recording shows ample evidence.

Be careful out there.
