WTF?
I went onto CNN's website just now, and their poll question was:
Should Americans be able to sponsor foreign-born same-sex partners for citizenship?
I thought it was an interesting question, but when I voted, I was surprised by the results so far:
Yes, 49% -- 10,910
No, 51% -- 11,395
Obviously these aren't scientific, but it surprised me because it's one of those issues that doesn't seem controversial to me. But even beyond that, CNN has a pretty liberal audience, and most poll results are decidedly on the left side of the spectrum. So this is kind of disappointing to me.
