Vacation! :D
Hello everybody! Checking in from Zionsville, Indiana, where the cicadas are loud and boy, things sure are diff'rnt 'round here. Like, streets are laid out on an orderly grid. And people are friendly and suchlike. What's up with that, huh? I'm taking this culture-shock as a clear sign that I've been in the northeast for far too long and that this vacation was sorely needed. I like living in the Northeast, for sure, but sometimes it's necessary to get away. I think it was starting to get to me. Ten or so days away from it, out in the rest of the wide world will hopefully give me some perspective. In the very least it will jar my senses out of this depressive torpor.
In other news, Phase One of the vacation (tearing apart Oldersis' deck) roared along yesterday, but has been stalled today on account of rain and thunder. Mostly thunder though. Hopefully it'll clear up and we can finish it off today.* If not, I'm sure we'll do some other sort of orgamanizational stuffandthings.
Oh man, this Ask a Ninja is so fucking funny. Anyways. Time for more coffee and breakfast! That's right, I'm usin' ma butch icon!
*Ooooor not. There's some really nasty purple stuff coming towards us on the radar. Sadpants!
