it's final: customer service is indeed dead. time of death? over the course of six hours yesterday, while some mouth-breathing inept was attempting to install our cable, yet managed to leave us without a driver for the modem. Six motherfucking hours to do a shitty job. I could have learned to do it myself in half that fucking time. Basically, this asshole is responsible for ruining my Sunday. Inexcusable.
ugh. anyways. i've got foots-foots mcsnugglemuffin next to me here, who does a lot for my peace of mind and blood pressure.
In other news: vacation time! i'll be out and about with my family for...about the next 2 weeks or so. first stop is with Oldersis in Indiana to see her new house and help her hubby with chores or a building a porch or something like that. i'm just bringing work clothes and seeing where it goes from there.
after that, i'm off to florida for continued vacationings with Momma and Youngersis. beaches, parks, all sorts of good stuff. i don't think i've had an actual vacation like this for years now. always too busy with one thing or another, which is a damn shame.
but, as always, there is more work to be done before i can go play. starting with breakfast and biking in the rain to work, because it would take me an hour otherwise and i'd still get soaked.
