We went to the opera tonight. The Nashville Opera had combined two pieces -- La Voix Humaine (The Human Voice) and The Lighthouse -- into a night's program. The first is psychological study, the second is a psychological mystery/thriller; one is all-female and the other all-male. It it was almost inevitable that I'd have a good time.
