Writing meme, day 15 -- Warnings
15 - Warnings - What do you feel it most important to warn for, and what's the strangest thing you've warned for in a fic?
At the very least, I want the rating to reflect the intensity and/or sucker punch level of the fic. I rarely warn for sex, since most people will encounter it. I do warn for explicit or graphic violence because that's not a normal thing for a lot of people and can be triggering for people who've been exposed to it or harmed by it. And if I've been posting a lot of erotica lately, I'll warn when I post gen so that the people who aren't here for that can move along if they'd rather.
The strangest thing I've warned for? ::tries to remember:: Er, 175 stories is a lot of warnings.... I think the anatomically incorrect golem was pretty strange, but I didn't explicitly warn for that. Um. I have no earthly idea. The usual warnings of 'do not eat or drink' although the one where I had to specify it was for the opening line, maybe. Nah. I got nothing.
