Well, that explains a few things.
No wonder I was tired after I finished Sirocco.
Thanks to jilltanith I've now got a file with ::eyes it:: certainly *most* of the Aidan fic. Erm. 625,000 words. Minus a few, but that's the closest round number. And I wrote that in four years? Plus about, um, another 200,000 in unfinished stories on my hard drive, mostly written in the year after Sirocco came out.... Wow. Yeah. Some things make more sense now.
