About "The Rising"
At least I think that's the episode title. Just watched the SGA pilot movie and I have three thoughts, none earth-shaking.
1. Just once, I'd like to actually like a character Robert Patrick plays. (Doggett had potential, but the scripts were execrable by then.)
2. Reading SGA fic made the tension levels much lower and hence easier on my nerves. (Although the wraith inability to speak in anything other than a hiss and their really bad bondage vinyl gear also helped...)
3. Elizabeth Weir reminds me of Cordelia Vorkosigan, in a lot of really scary ways.
