The happiest time of the year...
Yes, it's back-to-school time :-). Sara started on Thursday, and is enjoying it so far, for the most part. We had a nice holiday weekend, both Sara and Matt had Monday off. Saturday we went to Lancaster to the Hands on House Childrens museum..Sara had a great time (and Matt had fun playing with the race cars and giat Lite-Brite). We went to lunch at Friendlys, but didn't stay to do any other sight-seeing, as (due to the holiday weekend) traffic was a nightmare and everywhere was swamped with people (it took us 2 hours to get and eat our food). We stopped by That Pet Place on the way home..easily on of my favorite stores, I mean who can't love a store the size of a mega-wal*mart, dedicated soley to pet stuff? The condos across from us hasd a big condo-wide yard sale this weekend. I picked up a nice computer desk for Sara, and we're setting her up a computer in the living-room to play on and do her homework. After a summer of Sara running around the house (usually with one or more of her school friends and/or her cousins) the silence when she's at school is almost deafening...it will take some time to get used to lol. Our washing machine is on the fritz..it won't agitate or go through the spin cycyle. We're (read: Matt) is going to look at it this weekend..hopefully it's something little and easy to replace like a belt or clutch...I REALLY don't want to have to buy a new washing machine :-/. Well, it's 8:00 and I have to get the monkey off to school, hopefully I can be better about updating here.
