I don't watch "Dollhouse". Partly because I don't have the time, but mostly because I don't appreciate a TV show coming not from the creative impulse of a writer, but from the desperation of an actress looking for a job.
I was reading Tycho lambasting Dushku for saying, basically, that episodes 1 to 5 are bad because of FOX, and that people should wait for ep. 6, cause then it starts being good. My mockery comes from a different place: Eliza Dushku saying we should watch "Dollhouse" because the Messiah said it's GOOD FOR AMERICA:
"...with our economy right now, and where we are in our country, and with Obama saying we need to scale back and cut down with this inordinate amount of consuming we do, we need to take responsibility, and I think this is a nice reason to give people to stay home on Friday nights. [Laughs.]"
