IMDB has a daily poll that I almost always fill out, and the question today is "Which of these couples, featured in a TV series that aired in the last decade and destined to be together, is your favorite?"  I approached this with some dread, as I expected Buffy/Angel to be one of the choices, since "destined" is usually that ship's catchphrase.

Heh. I find Angel/Cordy to be a sweet pairing, but not so much destined.

I'd have put up Angel/Faith; there's the whole kindred atoners thing going on, where he's the only one who was able to reach out to her. And if we're leaning towards the crack!ship side, Angel and Spike seem made for each other, if AtS S5 was any indication, lol.

I guess I don't see "destined" as meaning literally destined but rather as a placeholder for "should have ended up together," in which case circumstances matter just as much as inevitability. I wouldn't actually call any couple destined in terms of fate/inevitability. Except maybe Ross & Rachel.

I never saw the Angel/Faith chemistry to tell the truth, but to each her/his own. I can totally get behind Spangel though! :D
