Gryffindor House Traits, Part 1
Vote for your favorite set of House Traits as turned in by your housemates. The second part, where you vote on the traits you want on your 'cheatsheet' comes later, I need this part going first, since it's for points. Voting will end next Thursday, June 28th.
Set A:
We're procrastinators! And I think we've got a kind of crazy, random streak about us.
Set B:
- Passionate. Most Gryffindors have a certain amount of passion to them, and it could be about anything.
- Opinionated. We are all very opinionated because of our beliefs/morals/whatever, and we don't back down. We have a set of beliefs on how we think things should be or are, and we don't take kindly to people that try to make us out to be wrong, because, you know, we're just not. Wrong. Ever.
- Which leads me to this: It's a thing about Gryffindors, I think, that we can't back down from something, especially something that involves our family or people we care about. A lot of us have some sort of protectors-mode that just turns on whenever one of our own is in trouble or anything involving danger (in any sense of the word).
- We need to have a meaning for ourselves. We don't like just being there, there has to be a reason why we're here, I think. We don't like feeling helpless, either.
Set C:
I've only been here a few days, but what the heck. :] As a newcomer here's what I think about the HiH Lions so far, and what I'd love to keep seeing more of. I'm not sure if you want a flat list or more description, so here's a bit of both:
Brave, adventurous, outspoken, gung-ho, proud, protective, passionate, enthusiastic, competitive, outgoing/friendly, compassionate, dynamic, optimistic, awesome, resilient, funny. It seems like they (we!) do everything 110%, whether it's earning points, bugging house members to earn points, or simply posting a reply to something.
One other awesome bit about HiH Lions: EXCLAMATION POINTS! They seem like a staple of the common room posts, haha.
Set D:
Of course, Lions are courageous, true, and bold. They are just, impulsive, rash, attention seekers. They are protectors of their beliefs and stubborn. They are motivated, thrill-seeking, and daring. Lions are rowdy, charismatic, and personable. Gryffindors are loud, out-spoken, and winners - even if they happen to lose. They are proud, steadfast, and stand out in whatever they do.
Set E:
Brave, loyal, act on impulse, just, hyper, EASILY BORED, social, trustful, cheerful, not the most organised
Set F:
Obviously Gryffindors have courage, that's our main trait. HOWEVER. Just because we are considered brave doesn't mean we're all reckless. There are many, many different types of bravery, some that only reveals itself once in a while and some that is there all the time, like Harry. Gryffindors are not always boisterous, bubbly, extroverted, the life of the party, etc. We can be introverts as well. We also are a lot smarter and a lot funnier than a lot of people give us credit for. Gryffindors also have a sense of right and wrong that's different for every person. The important thing is that for a Gryffindor, once you edge into wrong, we get quite upset about it. We are generally at least on occasion stubborn, and we abuse the capslock sometimes. We're quite competitive, but we also like to have fun. One of the absolute strongest trait a Gryffindor has, after courage, is passion. We all have something (at least ONE thing) we're very passionate about.
