My BA exam is in exactly two month's time. I am not feeling very motivated but it is high time for me to start learning :/ Wish me luck! To eliminate distractions from now on I'm having a hiatus on Tumblr. It's a fun place especially with all the shiny stuff on American superheroes but I always end up staying there too long.
I also always end up getting into arguments on whether Jason Todd was a good Robin or not (hilariously it's usually with people who have NOT read his run as Robin, but base their opinion on hearsay) or explaining to rabid shippers that the fact that characters are together in one continuity doesn't automatically mean they will be in an alternate universe, and that sort of stuff xD
I even once wrote an mini-essay on animated Young Justice!Roy Harper, defending him from an attack on one of those confessions blogs (those things are a plague)... that has been rendered useless because of the reveals in the finale of the first season (which is kinda hilarious but also sad considering what I found out T___T - yeah, I finally caught up on Young Justice yesterday and wrote a flaily, non-spoilerific post on my Tumblr about my feelings http://gruskek.tumblr.com/post/21973199322/so-i-caught-up-on-young-justice; BTW the new season started epically, haters to the left, the new crew is fabulous, the grown up people we got to see are stunning, and yes, we do need to get the info on what the rest of the cast did in the time-skip but we definitely ARE getting it, so just chill for a while - I didn't get an update on Roy and yet I'm chill, so you can be too).
I got side tracked but the gist of it is the superhero fandom is making me argue with people like no other (well maybe apart from the Bollywood one). Which fun but also draining and time consuming, so I need to cut down on it for a while. So if you see me breaking my promise to myself and Tumbling, slap my wrist or something, please xD

On to my bro:
So, my little brother (can't think of him any other way even though he's already 20 xD) really made me proud recently. His boss trusts him so much (after less than 10 months of working for the company) that he's sending him to Belgium for a couple of days. He is going to attend a special presentation of two games done for the press. One of them is a pretty original strategy (he already wrote a preview of it several months ago) and the other (made by the same studio) is being kept pretty obscure for now. After he comes back he's supposed to write a lengthy article on what he saw. The trip and all his expenses are being paid for, plus he's going to be compensated well for that piece of writing.
Also, the kid's band (he plays the bass guitar), Mind Affliction, is doing pretty well :) They've been doing a series of concerts around Poland. What they earn is barely enough to cover the travel expenses but they are having fun and people seem to enjoy their performances, so it's all that matters :) They even made some foreign friends recently. A few bands from Russia and the Ukraine came on a tour to Poland and had a few gigs together with my brother's band. The guys had been on the road for several days sleeping either in their bus or on various floors, so you can imagine their gratitude when we offered one of the bands (we couldn't fit them all in here so some went to other acquaintances) our couches xD

Their music is a weird combination of death and black metal, with some psychedelic and classic rock touches (and some trolling lyrics xD). IDK they usually take up about a paragraph to explain what their playing xD
