My opinion of "In Your Honor"
wow...in your honor is fucking amazing...ok ill break it down by tracks...but this is only gonna be disk 1...
1. "In Your Honor"
Its just like all my life from one by one...its just so intense and amazing that for an opening song its beyond any expectations possible...
2. "No Way Back"
Its really good...its like monkey wrench but with alot of totally different riffs which is great...and the lyrics are just good...also the lead in between in your honor and no way back is good...
3. "Best Of You"
The first single off this album...it really got me hooked again by these guys...they always have a way of doing that...but i love how dave just sings most of it...and the instrumental part is there...but you dont even realize it...
4. "DOA"
Probably my favorite song of this album as of now...i mean it just gives a great sound and gives a slight break in the album because the first three are really intense...and this one is alittle more laid back...but its still up there...
5. "Hell"
Drumming is just amazing...kinda sounds like alot of their other songs...but its still a good song...
6. "The Last Song"
Intro is just amazing...its pretty much a good song to just listen to...straight through...but not much change from their other stuff...
7. "Free Me"
Sounds like the perfect guitar song...i mean they just keep the riff changing throughout and it almost has a zeppilin sound...
8. "Resolve"
Slower considering the rest of the album but its like disencanted lulliby off of one by one...kinda...
9. "The Deepest Blues Are Blacks"
I love this song...it sounds so stoner for some reason...but its just good...you can just chill to it and not notice it...yet love it at the same time...
10. "End Over End"
A great closer for a Foo Fighters album...its just good overall...
So all in all its a great album...eventually i may put my opinion of disk 2 up but whatever...
