Wow. This 3-day weekend is really showing me how much time I spent with Kim. Basically all of it. I really need to get out and hang with friends. Company is always welcome where I am too!
I'm setting up my bachelor lair - I have my computer space JUST how I want it :) now I get to unpack all the crap in boxes in the other room. AGAIN. My parents were champs though, they got me out of my old apt in about 2 hours flat, including packing.
Tom gave me some GREAT stereo equipment, which I hooked up to my computer and piano. I now firmly believe that computer speakers SUCK BALLS. Seriously, it was no contest, especially after I figured out how to properly hook up the 200 watt subwoofer. I'm also using my fancy dancy digital audio interface to drive the system instead of the on-board soundcard. I even have space for my bass and its amp. I just hope my cats don't eat all the freaking wires.
Oh yeah, I'm keeping our two cats, Charlie and Cabernet (Cabbie). They're adjusting well to their new place. I'm happy to have them with me. They're awesome.
I can't stress this enough: I DON'T WANT TO BE A HERMIT. So let's like, hang out and stuff.
