The last couple nights have been lots of fun. Two nights ago Joy, Jonathan and I went and saw the Counting Crows at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater. Great show. Anna Begins, Monkey, Long December, Miami. It was a very impressive show. I hadn't seen them in about 10 years. They were one of my first concerts. At the same venue. So it was nice to see them again.
Last night I went with Shannon and Joy to see Jay Clifford at WorkPlay. And it was just wonderful. I could listen to him sing forever. He played so many wonderful songs. Even Holy City, Hang It On the Wall, Diving Bell, Beautiful Moment... among many others. I think Joy has the setlist, so hopefully she'll post it. I can't wait to see Jay again in a week and a half.
After the show, Shannon asked him, "So what's the deal with Dock Street?" And he said there will definitely be no Dock Street this year. Sadness. Oh well. I'm not that surprised.
I'm ready for the weekend! I don't know if anything's going on though.
