Work is boring right now. But here's a little update on life. Fall semester started last week, and I'm taking three classes. It seems like it is going to be a very busy semester. Lots of big projects to do in these classes. But overall, I don't think it will be that bad. Also, working 20 hours a week. Marcia says she's going to give me more things to do next week. I've been working on the same task for weeks now, and I'm not even half way done. It's a big one. And it's getting boring.
This weekend, I'm taking Shannon to Chattanooga. I can't wait. I haven't been there in a long time. Especially not to really see the city. I've been a couple times for concerts, etc. But we're going for two nights, and it's going to be wonderful. I'm planning everything. Yay long weekend!
Last night, Joy and I drove up to Nashville to see Chris Thile and the How to Grow a Band. Matt couldn't come. We had an extra ticket, which didn't get sold. The show was incredible. The news of Nickel Creek going on a hiatus next year sucks, but I'm just excited to see what Chris does in the future. This is another great album by him. I don't really see it as a huge step ahead, but it is very progressive bluegrass. He played most of his new album, and a couple songs from previous solo albums, and a cover here and there.
