time for a visit

so my dad is here for a visit. i haven't seen him since my wedding in 2006. we had a 'fight' over email about a year ago, but i guess we got over it. he hasn't met the girls yet, so that is really the purpose of the visit. i can't decide how i feel about it. i think i will end up blogging eventually to kind of figure things out. it's cool to see him with the girls. it's cool to talk to him and remember things. i don't think i can think much deeper than that because then i get all.....i don't know. about 30 words tried crowding into that spot.

anyway. we are off to potato days in barnseville mn and then we are grilling tonight with my my added to the mix..possibly marcus and jas.
