The Primaries, by grubby

I have to physically stop myself from posting about the Democrats, because I know that doing so will cause people to leave comments that will make me want to slap them. :)

So....THE REPUBLICANS. :)

Gracious, McCain is making Reagan look young. I mean, McCain *really* looks old. Are people voting for him or voting for their memory of who he was 8-20 years ago? I was surprised to see him regain momentum in the early caucuses/primaries, although kudos to him for doing so. The Republican party spent so much time and energy tearing him down when he ran against Bush II that it'll be interesting to watch them put Humpty Dumpty back together again to have a candidate. That said, I don't think he's a bad candidate.

Huckabee, on the other hand -- I just want to play pattycake with him. And I mean that in a good (yet snarky) way. I really think that would be on his level. I'm pretty good at pattycake myself, for that matter. (Maybe this is a sign that I should switch to Republican for my 2016 presidential bid?) A YouTube where Huckabee was caught playing pattycake with some little girl (or me!!!) would certainly get playtime.

Romney is turning out to be the wallflower at this dance, as only Massachusetts loved him. "Good thing his mom is a chaperone or no one would have danced with him all evening" -- the other kids are all talking about him. One of his sons needs to come out as gay so he can disown them and re-energize his campaign. I know which son I would pick, too. I licked my lips as I typed that.
