Karma Management Dept.

On the one hand, I am usually reluctant to journal about my dating life with any significant level of specificity; this has backfired on me in the past. On the other hand, I hate not journalling about what is on my mind and I really hate not journalling about anything at all simply because I'm self-censoring every topic that preys on my mind as a vegetarian preys upon the unsuspecting carrot.

Suffice to say that much of what's happened in the second half of this week would make for a redundant journal entry (e.g. "another good rehearsal," "people at work are soooo crazy") except for my dating life, which has been shiny and new -- also with a more pain-free applicator, as they say. ("Less of a prick than ever before!" proclaims the lance that comes with the glucometer that is my dating life.) Is spring in the air? Where are these guys coming from? Did someone in the Karma Management Department read my post of last Saturday and decide to spin the wheel?

On another topic and looking forward to future excitement opportunities, many personages from my flist are descending upon San Francisco this weekend, and I do hope to catch up with everyone. I also need to find a way to meet up with et_blackbird (whose descent is of a longer-than-a-weekend variety) at some point. And waffles -- the weekend must include waffles. Washington and Lincoln died so that we could eat waffles on a three-day weekend and I for one intend to honour their memories. And valerieg is saying it's curtains for me. I'm so excited.

(11:08:57) Valerie : Bloody Mary? I don't like tomato juice m'self.
(11:09:40) Rice : me neither -- but that's really the only vodka-based drink that's appropriate for the workplace
