On request: an awkward LJ entry
There was considerable demand last night for an awkward LJ entry, so here goes. off_i_go and I threw several dozen rotten eggs at happy couples who dared to venture forth from their "nests" last night. At some point we were joined by fixxwisdom and friend (WLJWIB?), the former of whom gladly threw some eggs of his own. Somewhere in there I had a Tosca rehearsal, I was trapped on a MUNI train for an unbelievable* amount of time, and I met nerotica. One (1) too many lemon drops were consumed, and someone went to bed without appropriate medication, which ironically resulted in getting in to work early this morning.
It is assumed that the reader can sort out which of the above statements are metaphoric and which are merely allegorical.
*There was a footnote, but I decided that only one or two people would even know who BABAK was, so I eradicated it.
