(no subject)
My fellow countryman Abbey just came into the staffroom and offered me Tim Tams she orderd from the net. I see she has a packet of Twistees in there as well and I'm restraining myself SO VERY HARD.
- How is the weather? Over here we get nice days and grey days. Today is a grey day. But everyone seems to be in a playful mood (maybe because I'm not at work and everything is chirpy to me....and I've just had a Tim Tam for the first time in months) so hooray. It was Polski's (Kamilla - the Polish girl whose last name is Polski) 21st yesterday and we've decided to leave the balloons and decorations on the wall because it brightens the staffroom up. There was cake and then there was beer.
- I almost wet myself yesterday when I saw the release date for The Simpsons Movie here - JULY 26th - which means I will be in London which means I will be watching it. Even if I have all my bags with me. I. Am. Watching. It.
- Six (4?) Degrees of Seperation...
Me, friends with ----> Rohanna ----> Whose cousin was stand-in for ----> Lindsay Lohan in Parent Trap.
Because both Lindsay and Rohanna's cousin were both ginger at the time.
- I think I am getting a little British. Apart from using words like "quid" and "twat" and "wanker", I have also started to get excited when people tell me they've met the Queen and I always ask "Was she nice?" like I was expecting the Queen was going to be a major bitchface ("No, actually, she smelt a bit funny"). This goes the same for any Royal ("You'ved met Camilla? Was she nice, I've read she's quite nice?"). Bluuuuuggghh.
- I can't wait to eat proper Asian food in London.
- I can't wait to see my Mum and Dad!! I mean, really, !!!!!!!!!!
