The big one year extravaganza!
Eleanore and Sophia will be one year old Friday. I still cannot believe that I have twin girls. Having two babies at once is so rewarding and interesting, yet draining and challenging. My body chemistry has been a mess since I have given birth to the girls. My anxiety levels are through the roof, my thyroid isn't working properly, and my hormones are cuckoo. Despite it all I am so happy and grateful for my children.
Eleanore is weighing in at 19 pounds. I am not sure of her height but at their last pedi appointment the doctor said the girls were extremely tall for their age, let alone being one month premature. Ellie started walking at about 11 months. She has three bottom teeth and is the mild mannered one. She loves giving kisses and snuggling. She dances anytime she hears music.
Sophia weighs about 17 pounds. She only has two bottom teeth. She picks on Ellie often by taking her toys away and sometimes even slapping her or pushing her. Despite her bullying, the girls share moments of affection by hugging, holding hands, tickling each other, and playing together. Sophia started walking at 10 1/2 months. She is very active and has the cutest damn dimples I have ever seen.
