It's VERY quiet...
Woke up this morning to a sheet of ice out there. I was sitting here wondering about why it seemed so strange. Obviously no one was going outside due to the layer of sheer ice out there. I can't believe it. I just got up to go to bed and happened to notice that the deck looked awfully white through the frosted glass of our front door.

Our neighbor just called us to say the city plowed our road this morning!!!!
All the way to our driveway. Our two cars that are parked at the dead-end are still snowed-in--but we can fix that.

Our city just declared a state of emergency..
City of Gresham. Due to severe weather the emergency services--fire department, police, etc are facing extreme difficulties responding to calls. I guess they'll be on the air in about 9 minutes with an announcement ( Read more... ) -
Ah man...
It never got about 23 degrees here today. It was freezing rain all day. We have an inch of ice on top of the foot of snow. The trees are beautiful.
And it.. JUST. STARTED. SNOWING.
