Part one. In which I display photos of photos.
My grandparents have been doing some house cleaning, as they are planning on moving to a smaller house. My grandfather inherited a gargantuan heap old old photos and newspaper clippings from his mother, which he has been in the process of going through. Some of them were rather amusing to me. Hooray for old photos of various ages. Sadly, we did not have a scanner, so I had to settle with my trusty digital camera.
A much younger, long-haired version of my father. And his sister.
My grandfather was a handsome young man.
I don't know who these boys are. But this picture reminds me of Dead Poet's Society. Oh frat boys. You never change.
Again, I don't know who they are, but this family is just way too cool.
Amanda, I think you will like these next two:
I think these are my great-great grandfather and his brother.
Possibly great-great grandmother and relation? But wow, imagine wearing those dresses.
Also, I enjoy the word "sultry." And the word "persnickety." Though neither is relevant to the other, nor to anything else for that matter.
