Ms. Moore very kindly offered to write this first entry for me, and for that I am most grateful. Apparently, my activities during the night have resulted in my hands being too tender to grasp any object or hold anything.
I am fully aware that wandering the halls after dark is risky, Ms. Moore, but please don't offer such looks.
...are you actually writing down every- ah, I see you are. Interesting sense of humor, Ms. Moore.
I woke up this morning to find my hands bandaged and my leg treated; it would seem that I'll be suffering from a limp, but nothing more severe than that. My hands, on the other hand, are going to take some time to heal properly; I will have to restrain myself in the future.
No, I will not need any assistance eating breakfast. Thank you for offering; however, I think it will take more than a few bruises to render me entirely helpless.
Back on topic, please, before I forget? I will need to speak further with the five individuals I saved during the night; not for gratitude, as I severely doubt that I will receive any, but because I still have questions for them. Alphonse in particular; I didn't get to speak with him about all of the things I wished to ask. Perhaps we'll be able to find some remote corner before-
...of course. Mr. Greene. My mistake.
Perhaps Mr. Greene and I will be able to speak again before too much time elapses. I also need to speak with Ms. Ophelia and Mr. Smith as well; I can only hope that the night treated them more kindly than it treated me.
Give me only a moment to change, and I will be ready for breakfast, Ms. Moore. Thank you again for recording all of this for me.
