I went without ropeburns to a campground in Alabama, and hung out with a friend, Keith, who is a long time friend of Wes's and is lately been caving a lot. He and Wes took me to Rusty's Cave where I repelled (40 feet) for the first time and I climbed out of the 40 foot hole. That climb was the hardest, most excruciatingly difficult physical thing I have ever done! Anyway , this weekend we went to Limrock Blowing cave. This is the absolute beginner's cave. It makes Tumbling rock and Gourd Neck look like hard intermediate caves. I could take my mother there if she was willing to crawl some.
