(no subject)
Well, I was in my first real accident yesterday afternoon :/ It sucked so bad. It was pouring down raining. I was driving down Walther to go help my mom clear out Candace's apartment. This white pick up was making a left hand turn....so I gently pressed on my brake, but NOTHING. The van didn't even attempt to slow. So, I pressed a little harder...and harder....and nothing. I just banged right into the back of the truck. I tried to go to my right to get away, but it was too late. I hope I just hydroplaned and there isn't a defect in my brakes. Everyone is okay. Brady stayed asleep and Nick just looked around like, "what the hell is going on?" The guy was had his two boys in the truck and they were okay. He was really nice. We exchanged information and then I continued to Candace's apartment to tell David (helping my mom move furniture) the news. My back hurts a little today, but I think that is only because I clenched up when I knew I was going to hit. This really does suck. Not only is my van all busted up, but now my insurance is going to go up. I guess I can only be thankful that everyone is safe.
