Meanings change but not the tale
I've been trying to decide if I believe in something.
My Uncle Tony told me once that when he crossed paths again with Auntie Paula years after they graduated high school, he knew within three weeks that they would get married. He said he just knew. Is that true? Are you supposed to have this random feeling immediately come over you that says "THIS is real, this is it?" There are people out there who say they knew within minutes of talking to someone that he or she would be the person they marry. How does someone just KNOW that right off the bat? Doesn't it take years of building up trust, learning about each other, and developing a strong bond first to absolutely know who is right for you? Can't you "just know" years down the line after you've devoted so much time and effort to someone? I just don't understand how people "just know" right away... and if that is supposed to be how it happens, then that scares me...
