So today and yesterday were the first rehearsals of "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940" at Kennewick. The play is so hilarious! I'm REALLY excited to be a part of it. Not only will I be on stage again, but I'll have a whole new group of friends worlds away from Marching Band horniness, whorishness and horrible-ness. Not that marching band itself is bad-- but the MEMBERS of marching band, that's something different.
I play a Musical composer with questionable sexuality who's name is Roger. During the murders and deaths, I'm always innocently unaware and relaxed. It's a lot of fun because I don't have that many lines but at the same time, my part is memorable. EEE!!!
Then again, it's not much of an achievement to have gotten this role- hardly enough boys tried out to fill the parts. Hey, tonight I'm seeing Arsenic and Old Lace. Can't wait!
Watched Uma Therman on Oprah today. She's by far one of my all time favorite actresses. In the movie version of Les Miserables, she plays Fantine (the poor wreck that has to become a whore to support her daughter) and I think she does the part justice. She recently had a divorce and is supporting her two kids alone... Yes, I know, the typical sob story. I like her, though. She's smart and REAL. Unlike most hollywood barbie-dolls.
Of-course her hair kept getting in her mouth through the interview, which was distracting, but still.
Oh yeah and her name is cool.
OOOO-MAH.
Puaha!
Ok I'm done.
IT'S FRIDAY! I haven't been this excited about a friday in a looong time.
