Okay so after having that writing meme analyze a lot of my fiction it seems to feel my writing style with only a few exceptions is in a similar style as Dan Brown. I've only read parts of the Da Vinci Code and never touched his other work. Is anyone out there more familiar with his style of writing and can give me a heads up on what its like? ( Read more... )

So I checked out several IC writing samples and found that when I wrote for Bluegrass I wrote like Dan Brown almost every time and with Hadrian I wrote like Dan Brown every single time. The samples that made my day were for Archer Halifax though which had the following result:

Ever have on of those days where you just don't feel like doing much at all? Today is that day for me.

I have things I need to do but instead of doing them I'm debating just sitting here and playing web-based yahoo games all night while I take phone calls. I should be writing one of several things right now...

I decided to wait one semester to get finished with the move (whenever I actually get my house) and that way I will have time to set up the house the way I want to, I can also take the time to finish painting my Lizardmen, begin a solid workout routine, get some writing done, and most of all it will give me time to go in and chat with councilors ( Read more... )
