I felt so bad for the Worst in the last drabble, I had to write a happy, Jossverse happy.
What if there was nothing left and Gellert took Albus with him when he ran?
Eden
Gellert and his Albus made their kingdom near a little hamlet by the sea, their cottage deep in the wooded cove beyond the tall grassed fields where the fairies and children folic together. They won’t be expanding their dominion beyond their little paradise, Gellert has convinced Albus that the world doesn’t deserve their glory, and Albus...doesn’t remember disagreeing.
They live happy days together filled with explorations of their theories and each other, their pace mellowed now that they are not pressed to conquer Europe and beyond. They’ve made themselves healers of the village, here, where the statute of secrecy has no force and the local muggles know better than to ask questions. They’ve conducted exchanges between the merfolk and the fae, receiving from both, gifts of magical knowledge that could make the use of wands obsolete.
Sometimes, the weak constitution Albus shares...the weak constitution Albus had when he was little, would come back and leave him in a daze. The weakness is strong and Albus experience night terrors he doesn’t understand, but Gellert is stronger and Gellert makes it go away.
Albus’s happiness is important to Gellert, Albus is everything to Gellert, and Gellert will always take care of him.
