This is a super simple way to prepare a bath sachet for ritual or just soothing baths. Take a good sized square of cheese cloth (I like to use a 12 by 12 inch square) place a bunch of herbs and/or essential oils in the center and then tie up the square snuggly so that you don't end up with soggy plant material stuck to you and clogging up your drain!
this method requires a little bit of sewing know-how:
1 square (10 by 10 inch) cheese cloth or other breathable, dye and toxin free fabric
thread
ribbon
Fold cheese cloth in half right sides together and stitch up two sides leaving one side open. this creates a "baggie". fold the raw edges of the open side of the "baggie" to form a channel/tube that is wide enough for your ribbon. stitch the channel/tube along bottom edge starting at one seam and ending about 1/2 inch from starting point. now thread your ribbon through. turn "baggie" right side out and now you have a finished reusable bath sachet.
*EDIT*
Don't forget to purify your bath sachet favric square or "baggie" prior to adding herbs and oils. You don't want a ritual bath going bad becaues it got tainted by the one before.
