I'll get all my venting out of the way first.
Well, I got eliminated in the last round of
vampirelims. I can't say that I'm surprised. Each week, they eliminated two icon makers. I'm still a little disappointed but I'm just proud of myself that I finally did a lims and that I didn't do half bad.
My phone broke ages ago. It still works, just looks like crap. I want to buy a smart phone but I just can't justify the expense right now. After all, my phone does work. I probably use about 20 minutes a month in talk time but I use it mostly for texting and internet.
I went to use my camera last night and it wouldn't turn on. :( So, I went to check the batteries and there weren't any in the camera. 0_o I used the camera a few days ago and not only did it have batteries, it worked just fine. So, I put new batteries in it and tried again. Still wouldn't turn on. After about ten minutes of checking, rechecking and rechecking again... I gave up. I just took the memory card out and uploaded all my pics to my hard drive at home.
Now, I need a new camera and I still kinda need a new phone. *pouts*
Work related irritation: The incompetence of the workers in the state government never ceases to annoy the living shit out of me.
Only two more days until the Horror Movie Challenge begins. Yay! I've got a few at home that I'm just dying to watch. Also, my instant queue at Netflix has
3 Extremes (can't find it on IMDB, only the sequel) and
Masters of Horror: Takashi Miike's Imprint (63 minutes, thank you) all ready for me. I may or may not have a marathon of Final Destination (
2 and
3), Children of the Corn (1-6), both Jeepers Creepers
1 and
2 as well as the sure to be craptastic
Bottom Feeder (along with about 20 other horror movies) saved on my DVR at home.
Not to mention that I got my first 3 netflix movies for this challenge at home this last Friday,
Silk,
The Burrowers and,
Book of Blood. Oh don't forget I bought,
Dead Snow and haven't got to watch it yet.
I just can't wait. *bounces*
