Last night, I dreamt that my desk at work had a drawer. Is that a boring dream, or what? I actually checked as soon as I got in this morning, and nope, no secret drawer. Just a nice large top. Someday, my book shelf will arrive and I'll be able to get organized, but until then, this is all I have to work with.

I was called into work early today, because two people were out sick and they needed someone to cover the desk. This rather cut into the leisurely waking up that I had envisioned for my day. Ah well. Today was perhaps not my best day at work. I wish to preface this by reminding everyone that I really do like my job. A lot of it is grunt work, but it's grunt work in my field of interest (cataloging), so it's not bad. And, as I said, I really do enjoy a lot of it ( Read more... )
