Funny pet stories...my dog loves Kleenex. He twice now has literally tiptoed into the bathroom and tiptoed out again with a piece of tissue in his mouth. He also tries to hide tissue under his body and pretend its not there in hopes we won't notice. :D
Hehe, my dog when through a phase when he would steal and eat bars of soap. We would find paw prints in the tub and bits of soap bars. We have no idea how that didn't kill him. He also stole chocolate whenever he could. Iron stomach, I swear. :3
That's incredibly sad. I'm really sorry for the pain that you and your dog are undoubtedly going through. I can't bare to think of my cat being in the same position. Makes me kind of want to do this:

I see you've got a trouble-making cat! Luckily my dog never actually ate my work, though he liked to rub his wet nose all over my sketchbooks.
